The CoE was inaugurated by the DCE Management – Dr. V.P.Ramamurthi, Chairman; Mrs. R.Dhanalakshmi, Chairperson; Mr. R.Ramesh Vishegu, Vice-chairman; Dr. C.Elanchezhian, Principal; Dr. R.K.Natarajan, Dean Academics; Dr. M.Sivakumar, Professor & Head, Department of AI & DS; other HoDs, Professors and students.
Dr. Mithileysh Sathiyanarayanan, Founder & CEO of MIT Square, London and Ms. Bhuvaneshwari Loganathan, Co-founder of MIT Square, Asia were invited as chief guests.
Dr. Sivakumar has been appointed as the director of the RAISE Centre of Excellence. As part of the CoE, Dr. Revathi K has been offered a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Thailand and she is working on Affective Computing with Emotional Intelligence. The centre’s agenda includes spearheading research projects, hosting workshops and conferences, and providing a platform for startups and industry partners to collaborate on groundbreaking initiatives. Additionally, the RAISE Centre of Excellence aims to contribute to the training and development of a skilled workforce in different domains by introducing campus radio and other campus activities.
