American Public Life Names Laura Gower and Susan Relland as Presidents

They will work with executive leadership to continue making APL the broker’s carrier of choice. 

As President of Sales and Marketing, Gower’s primary focus will be continuing to build the Regional Manager Sales Team and supporting APL’s key broker partners — work she began earlier this year serving as APL’s Chief Revenue Officer. Gower has been with the Cameron Group for the last 33 years in sales leadership roles.

Relland joins APL as President of Operations. She brings with her a wealth of experience as an employee benefits attorney, Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Administrative Officer for affiliated Cameron Companies and founder/CEO of AFAS, which helps employers with Affordable Care Act and other benefits compliance activities. Relland will continue to serve as the Chair of APL’s Board of Directors.
