In 1987, Julie’s dream of exploring “The Last Frontier” became a reality with a move to Kodiak Island. There, she purchased a derelict property and remodeled it from the studs out, creating both a living space for her growing family and a workspace for her salon business.
Frequent travel to Anchorage sparked Julie’s interest in tourism and hospitality. Seeing a need for alternative lodging for families other than a standard hotel room, she invested in a multiunit property in 2005 and began a new adventure! Providing all the conveniences of home down to the last detail, she discovered a much-needed niche in the travel industry. Furnished Vacation and Corporate rentals proved to be a worthy endeavor and welcome alternative for the visitors coming to Anchorage.
Relocating to Anchorage in 2007, followed by another move to Palmer in 2012, enabled Julie to gain valuable knowledge of the Anchorage, Palmer, and Wasilla Real Estate Markets. Her extensive tenure as a business owner and property manager has equipped her with invaluable insights and prudent advice for individuals considering an investment property or a second home/vacation retreat. She attributes her success to hard work, determination, and faith that God will make a way!
When she is not in the office, Julie enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking her dogs outside for nature walks, spontaneous road trips, and delving into genealogy on Ancestry.com. Escapes to Oregon and the Big Island of Hawaii are her favorite vacation destinations.
