During her academic pursuits, she graduated with top honors in college and dental school. Dr. Richards graduated first in her dental class from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry with Doctor of Dental Surgery degree followed by a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics.

Her academic journey includes notable achievements such as completing a Fellowship in Orthodontics and serving as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Orthodontics, where she imparted her knowledge and expertise to dental students and orthodontic residents alike. Transitioning into private practice in the Quad City area in 1998, Dr. Richards continued to excel both professionally and within the dental community. Dr Richards is passionate about creating healthy, beautiful smiles while helping her patients grow into the healthiest version of themselves.
