He currently practices with his private practice, Spencer Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center LLC and is affiliated with St. Anthony’s Hospital. He is certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. In addition to maintaining a private practice, he is co-chairman of the National Council for Skin Cancer Prevention, past president of the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology & Aesthetic Surgery, a past member of the board of directors of the American Academy of Dermatology, and was previously a co-editor-in-chief of the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology and editor-in-chief of the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology. Dr. Spencer is a co-editor of 1 book, author of 14 book chapters, and over 100 scientific publications.
