Author Harold W. Weist, a twenty-year retired Marine Veteran, brings his wealth of life experiences to his writing. Born and raised in Findlay, Ohio, Weist joined the United States Marine Corps at the age of 17. Throughout his military service, he had a variety of assignments on both sides of the ocean, including tours in the Republic of Vietnam. After retiring from the military, Weist worked in various fields, including nuclear security and retail security. He also volunteered with the Red Cross, teaching first aid and conducting water safety instructor classes. Weist currently resides in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, and is an active member of several Veterans Service Organizations.
