The Indie Music Channel Awards and Red Carpet Event will be conducted on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at the Hang On To The Dream Theater in Hollywood, California. Red Carpet arrivals begin at 6:00 p.m., Award Presentations commence at 7:00 p.m.

Hawkins is nominated for Best Blues Songwriter for the song “Lonely No More”, co-written with his longtime collaborator Charlotte Hannon; Best Blues Male Artist for the song “Lonely No More”; Best Blues Producer for the song “Moondog the Mojo Man”; and Best R&B Song for the song “Attitude of Gratitude”, also co-written with Charlotte Hannon.
Hawkins’ incredible career spans over 40 years as an artist, songwriter, and producer, as well as playing drums for a variety of national and international recording artists. “Stevie Hawkins represents the legacy of past great American blues artists, but he also represents an example for the next generation of real American blues artists to follow in their creative growth. He was also recently nominated in the 2023 Hollywood Independent Music Awards for his latest release, ‘Moving Down The Road.’ Not only is he one of the most expressive vocalists and drummers of his generation, but a prolific songwriter and talented producer as well, so we are delighted to see him get the recognition that he deserves in all of those categories,” said Emphasis Records.
