Musician Morgan King is an emerging recording artist who recently came out with her debut solo single, ‘Mirror, Mirror’. The song which was released on May 28, combines the essences of multiple genres and produces a rock-influenced pop track, ideal for the modern-day crowd. Her music is also a melting point of different themes both dark and light, symbolizing the shades of life. Her powerful voice and musical reasoning allowed her to make the song stand out in its eccentricities. By inducing electronic modulations, she has further allowed her soundscape to be more adaptable and resilient in terms of creative expressions.
‘Mirror, Mirror’ is about the struggle between who we are and the negative images we think of ourselves. But through self-love, we can set ourselves free from that distorted image. The artist is originally from Southern California. Before music, she pursued a PhD in Philosophy at the University of Wisconsin. But when she realized what she really loves, she pursued her dream of becoming a musician.
