Born in El Salvador, a small country in Central America, Luisa migrated to the United States with her mother and siblings in the early 1980s. After a year at the University of Texas at Austin, she transferred to the University of Texas-San Antonio, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish in 1997. For 18 years, she homeschooled her four children while moving nearly 10 times across the eastern United States, residing in Texas, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Virginia. 

Settling in northern Virginia in 2009, Luisa pursued education and career opportunities, completing the INOVA Military-to-Medicine Front Office Management Program in 2011. She then joined Fort Belvoir Community Hospital as a Red Cross Volunteer and Patient Administration Contractor in 2012.

Inspired by a negative personal experience in home buying, Luisa graduated from Moseley Real Estate School in the summer of 2014. Shortly thereafter, she began her career in the industry with the RE/MAX Executives Springfield team, determined to provide exceptional service. 

Among her impressive credentials include Medical Transcriptionist, Certified Medical Office Manager, Military Relocation Professional (MRP), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Staging Professional (ASP), and At Home with Diversity® (AHWD).

Inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame in 2024, Luisa credits her achievements to her patient and informative approach with clients, ensuring they understand the process and know what to anticipate. She values her integrity and honesty, which have been pillars of her success. 

Looking ahead, Luisa aspires to establish another mentorship program to support incoming agents entering the real estate field. Outside of real estate, Luisa enjoys exercising, quilting, traveling, hiking, and immersing herself in nature. She is a dedicated fan of the Texas Longhorns and Houston Texans, and eagerly follows events like the Olympics and the FIFA World Cup. Among my lifelong dreams include traveling throughout Europe and Asia, hiking the entire Appalachian Trail, as well as attending a FIFA World Cup match and at least one Olympic Games.
