Rapper and OG Quon Gives His 100% in ‘Aint A Boss’

MC and OG Quon released a hit record, Aint A Boss, via Majestic Music.

Aint A Boss

TX rapper Quon is back with another well-rounded track, ‘Aint A Boss,’ which follows his previous release in January, ‘Did That’. Featuring amazing production by no other than Amir Perry (Yo Gotti, Pusha T, E-40), ‘Aint A Boss’ is complemented by a music video that was filmed in Houston. The two-minute and half visuals premiere on March 24 and pays homage to the dead and living legends from the city and beyond. On ‘Aint A Boss,’ Quon offers a narration that sheds light on the virtual persona that everyone carries in their social media platforms, pretending to be something they are not.

Born as Dequon Stovall in New Orleans, Quon grew up in Arizona and Texas. As a teenager, he was seen appearing on open mic at clubs and rapping around his pals. Drawing inspiration from the veterans like UGK, Jay Z, Too $hort, and Tupac, he also had the opportunity to work with big names like Paul Wall, Kidd Kidd, E-40, and Lil’ Keke under his former moniker, Young Quon. In the past, he has also put forward tracks that caught the attention of old and young audiences and even received critical acclaim, including ‘Favors’ and ‘OG Status.’ Known for his quality music, ‘Aint A Boss’ will surely get heads moving from the streets to the clubs, and it won’t be surprising to see it on top of the hip-hop charts.
