The debut album ‘Check Mate!’ by upcoming hip hop artist and rapper Check’a Fred is a personal account of the artist’s inner challenges, insights, and expressions.
Upcoming artist Check’a Fred is all set to take his career graph to new heights with his newly released debut album, ‘Check Mate!’. The album contains thirteen songs all of which are personal accounts of his life and its challenges and perspectives. He expresses his insights and plunges into the depth of reflections through the thematic and lyrical membrane of the tracks. He started working on the record in 2019 and had envisioned showcasing his artistic vulnerability before his audiences. Produced by the artist himself, Vicky The Producer, AyooTraa, and Mercy Cash, the album also features various guest musicians such as Kidd Raw and Big Boss Q.
Hailing from Illinois, Check’a Fred is also the founder of the record label Rawthenic Records which has roped in artists like Malik Bolden and Leah Devine for future projects. His latest record, ‘Check Mate!’ delivers his creative pursuits and helps him penetrate the hip hop industry with more experience and exposure. Some of the songs from the album that stands out include ‘Check Mate !’, ‘Got Damn !’, ‘Who Want The Smoke?’, and ‘Itty Bitty !’. He will have a live stream show on Facebook on January 30th, and the music video for ‘Itty Bitty !’ is set to release in early February.
