“I was apprehended by God for this mission,” Eldreth said. “He confirmed it many times over, including through Pat Robertson’s request to feature the story on air when the image had been on paper for less than 10 hours.” Portions of the story aired on CBN’s 700 Club during Flag Day broadcasts in 2004 and 2005.

The journal documenting the dedication of Cape Henry Landing–where this land was consecrated to God for the propagation of the Gospel in the end times–resurfaced during the nation’s bicentennial in 1976. Eldreth describes the United States as a “Sheep Nation,” known by adversaries as the “Nation of the Cross.” She asserts that the nation’s Christian foundation is what has historically enabled freedom of religion for all people.
