He has also published scholarly work in The Grey Journal on antibiotics, demonstrating his dedication to evidence-based medicine. His approach emphasizes preventive strategies, nutrition, and patient education, empowering patients to take an active role in their health and reduce pregnancy complications across all populations.

Dr. Lett earned his Bachelor of Science from Knoxville College and his Doctor of Medicine from Meharry Medical College, where he served as student body president and was an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Gamma Omicron Chapter. Since retiring from private practice in 2016, he has continued contributing to the medical community through advocacy, mentorship, writing, and public education.
