(Isstories Editorial):- Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Feb 24, 2026 (Issuewire.com) – In a progressive move toward international academic integration, faculty and students of Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chennai, completed an impactful educational visit to Malaysia under the Faculty Abroad Programme (FAP) and Student Abroad Programme (SAP). The global immersion initiative was organised by MIT Square, London, reinforcing the institute’s strategic vision of fostering international collaboration and experiential learning. The Malaysia visit was held from 17th February to 23rd February 2026, followed by a research internship lasting until March 2026, to be carried out in India.
The delegation was organised by Dr. Raja J (Principal), Dr. Sheela Thavasi (HoD-IT), and Dr. Mithileysh Sathiyanarayanan (Scientist & CEO, MIT Square, London), which comprised faculty member Prof. Sathya V, accompanied by students Brindhavini P, Roshini P, Dinesh Babu J, Shiva Ganesh A, Dhanush S M, Srivatsa T, Michael Rohin D A, Dharaneshwaran R, Shakthi Akshata G, Siva Subramaniyan S, Oviya, and Kiruba S, who actively represented the institution with enthusiasm and professionalism.
The faculty and students engaged with leading Malaysian universities, including MAHSA University and University of Cyberjaya. Through academic interactions, research discussions, laboratory visits, and innovation workshops, participants explored opportunities for joint research, faculty exchange, collaborative publications, and curriculum benchmarking aligned with global standards.
