Dr. Altieri’s journey began at Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch in Amarillo, Texas, where he made history as the first alumnus from his high school to become a doctor. His pursuit of excellence continued at West Texas State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Science in 1987. He subsequently attended Baylor College of Dentistry, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1992. Establishing his practice in 1994, Dr. Altieri has made significant contributions to the dental field and the local community.

Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Altieri completes over 100 hours of continuing education each year, focusing on sleep dentistry, dental implants, and reconstructive dentistry. He has gained advanced training through multiple residencies and study clubs, including a Hospital Dentistry Residency at the VA Hospital in Temple, Texas, and prestigious institutions such as the Spear Study Club, the Dawson Academy, and the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dentistry. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and has completed a preceptorship in implants at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
