Founder of SVVAN Origami, enters a milestone year with a series of national exhibitions, exclusive art experiences, and creative partnerships across art, sports, community, and fine dining. Known for her sculptural floral installations and experiential design work, SVVAN continues to expand the visibility and contemporary relevance of origami.
Her remaining 2025 schedule includes a featured exhibition represented by Perseus Gallery based in SOHO New York at Red Dot Miami 2025 during Miami Art Week and artistic contributions to a Japanese fine-dining restaurant opening in Phoenix, AZ. Among the quiet engagements ahead are her invitation to the Untamed Agency AAPI Holiday Gala in support of the Asian American community, and a private women-artists-only soirée dinner in DTLA.

My journey as an origami artist began while I was on a completely different career path. Making the leap was seen as risky–something that didn’t make sense to others. But when you’re doing something that hasn’t been done before, nothing makes sense at first. Exploring the unknown through origami has been both fulfilling and challenging, allowing me to grow into myself while breaking through the glass ceilings of what people believe origami can be. I continue to reach beyond limits–to aim beyond the stars, beyond the moon–driven by the belief that origami is my superpower, and that there is a place for it everywhere in the world.
