The course provides a Certificate of Completion recognized in all 50 states and complies with California Rules of Court, Standard 5.20, and Family Code Section 3200.5. Participants learn how to manage supervised visitations safely, effectively, and professionally — gaining the tools needed to help families maintain healthy connections during challenging times.
This flexible online format allows participants to complete six comprehensive lessons at their own pace, featuring PDF guides, PowerPoint presentations, video modules, and short quizzes. Each lesson concludes with a one-on-one recap session with the Director to ensure full understanding and readiness for the role.
“Our mission is to equip individuals with the knowledge, confidence, and compassion needed to provide safe and structured visitation experiences,” said the program’s Director. “Graduates leave with a clear understanding of procedures, documentation, child safety, and court expectations.”
Training topics include intake and documentation procedures, visitation techniques, mandated child abuse reporting, stages of child development, codes and ethics, and how to manage reports, subpoenas, and client communication. Participants also receive all necessary intake forms, templates, and sample court letters.
Upon completion and background clearance, trainees may begin providing supervised visitation services independently or through an agency. No degree is required; applicants must be at least 21 years old, complete a LiveScan background check, and meet all qualifications listed on the program’s website.
Supervised Visitation Training helps professionals create safer environments for children, support family reunification, and meet growing national demand for qualified visitation providers.
