Friends of the Arts, Humanities, and Education Foundation and Spirit of Math Bring Spirit of Math Contest to Venezuela

(Isstories Editorial):- North York, Ontario Nov 20, 2025 (Issuewire.com) – Friends of the Arts, Humanities, and Education Foundation (FUNDAAHE) and Spirit of Math are thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration that will bring the International Spirit of Math Contest to Venezuela for the 2025-26 school year.

The partnership is a continuation of Spirit of Math’s unwavering commitment to promote co-operation, inspire confidence and release the genius in every child all around the world. This collaboration will give Venezuelan students the opportunity to showcase their abilities on an international stage, while growing their confidence and skills which they will need for future success.

“At Spirit of Math, we are dedicated to revolutionizing education for students everywhere,” said Kim Langen. “We are excited to support FUNDAAHE in their mission to cultivate young talent and help students realize their greatest potential.”

More on Isstories:

FUNDAAHE, based in Mérida, Venezuela, joins this initiative as a strategic partner committed to educational innovation and social transformation. Since 2010, FUNDAAHE has operated under the vision “Empower minds, create innovators, and change futures,” making it an ideal collaborator for regional expansion. The foundation leads the integration of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) into academic and research programs through partnerships with institutions such as the University of Carabobo and the Bicentennial University of Aragua.

Beyond the classroom, FUNDAAHE plays a pivotal role in Venezuela’s technology ecosystem as the official organizer of Technoxian, delivering large-scale events that connect youth with cutting-edge innovation. Its commitment to social impact is equally robust, with programs that promote healthy lifestyles, support access to dignified housing, and foster sustainable communities, all grounded in the principles of equity and equal opportunity and supported by UNESCO. This partnership represents a shared dedication to empowering the next generation through education, technology, and inclusive development.

The partnership is one of many collaborations Spirit of Math is undertaking with international organizations to bring the International Spirit of Math Contest to every corner of the world. Competitive events such as these offer children an excellent opportunity to develop important skills such as analysis, problem solving and critical thinking. They also get the personal satisfaction (and motivational boost) of tackling and conquering some of the hardest questions.
