Author Bio

Born and raised by her devoted parents, Joyce and Sam, Sheri Baity grew up the youngest of four children and proudly calls herself “Daddy’s Little Girl.” After nearly a decade in Hollywood’s fashion industry, she returned home to care for her ailing father, cherishing the bonus years they gained together after his surgeries.

In the early 1990s, Sheri married a dairy farmer and began hunting to protect their farmland. With no formal training, she taught herself the skills needed to handle the growing coyote population. Her success drew attention — leading her to give seminars at Bass Pro Shops, Cabela’s, and Gander Mountain, and eventually start her own game call company, Crows Nest Calls.

Sheri’s journey culminated in an extraordinary achievement — advocating tirelessly to legalize night vision and thermal imaging for predator hunting in Pennsylvania. It took 3½ years of persistence, countless miles, and personal sacrifice, but her efforts changed the future of hunting in her state forever.
