(Isstories Editorial):- Dubai, United Arab Emirates Nov 13, 2025 (Issuewire.com) – October 2025 was an exciting month for Dr. Joy Dental Clinics as we continued our commitment to promoting oral health among children across Dubai through our School Oral Health Program. This initiative, designed to educate, screen, and provide preventive dental care for young students, proved to be both engaging and impactful. With a carefully curated schedule spanning top schools, nurseries, and international institutions, our team of community dentists worked hard to ensure every child experienced the benefits of early dental care.

Our Schedule of School Visits

The month of October was packed with visits to some of Dubai’s most esteemed schools and nurseries. Each visit was meticulously planned to maximize both preventive care and education.

This carefully structured schedule ensured that students across Dubai had received access to quality dental screenings and preventive care during the school term.

Our Expert Team of Community Dentists

Dr. Joy Dental Clinics’ community dentists were the heart of our school program. For October, the following dedicated professionals participated in the visits:

  • Rafiq (General Dentist)
  • Zahra (General Dentist)

Our dentists are specialized in community dental health. Their focus was on providing a positive, comfortable, and educational dental experience for children, ensuring that dental visits were not intimidating but instead fun and informative.

Activities for Children

The School Oral Health Program emphasized preventive care and education through hands-on activities. The program included:

Dental Screening:

Every child received a thorough dental checkup to identify any dental issues, cavities, or gum concerns. Early detection was crucial for preventing more complex dental problems in the future.

Fluoride Treatments:

Fluoride played an essential role in strengthening tooth enamel and preventing decay. During our visits, children in grades 1, 2, and 3 received professional fluoride applications to help maintain healthy teeth.

Goodie Bags:

To make the experience fun and memorable, children were given goodie bags containing dental care items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, and educational material. These items encouraged children to continue good oral hygiene at home.

Our approach combined preventive dental care with education, ensuring that children learned the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene in an interactive and enjoyable way.

Parent Engagement Through Webinars

Education did not stop with children. At Dr. Joy Dental Clinics, we recognized the critical role parents played in maintaining their child’s oral health. To support parents, we conducted weekly webinars covering a wide range of oral health topics, including:

  • Effective brushing techniques for children
  • Tips to improve oral health at home
  • Importance and advantages of fluoride applications

These webinars were designed to empower parents with practical knowledge and strategies to ensure their children maintained healthy teeth and gums. By engaging both children and caregivers, our program ensured a comprehensive approach to oral health education.

Why School Oral Health Programs Matter

Preventive dental care in childhood laid the foundation for a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums. Studies showed that children who received regular dental screenings and fluoride treatments were significantly less likely to develop cavities, gum disease, enamel erosion, tooth sensitivity, tooth misalignment, or other oral health issues.

By visiting schools and nurseries directly, Dr. Joy Dental Clinics removed barriers such as transportation, scheduling, and access to dental care. Children who might otherwise have gone without professional dental attention received expert care right within their school environment.

Moreover, the educational component of the program cultivated positive dental habits from an early age. Children who understood why brushing, flossing, and fluoride were important were more likely to carry these habits into adulthood. Our fun, interactive activities helped children associate dental care with positive experiences rather than fear or discomfort.

A Commitment to Kids’ Oral Health

At Dr Joy Dental Clinics, we believe that teaching children about dental care from an early age is essential for fostering a lifetime of healthy smiles. The School Oral Health Program reflects our ongoing commitment to improving
