What began as a studio collaboration known as The Alexander Project has evolved into BFAlexanderMusic — a Los Angeles-based independent record and publishing collective uniting artists and producers across continents.

Founded in 2020 by songwriter, producer, and guitarist B.F. Alexander, The Alexander Project quickly grew from a single creative outlet into a network of connected labels and international partnerships. Today, that network includes Mental Bill Records, LUMIN8 Records, Unfiltered Records, and ZANDERSONGSMUSIC, an ASCAP-registered publishing division handling all composition and licensing administration.

From One Project to a Worldwide Collective

The Alexander Project became the launching pad for a family of imprints designed to support different genres and creative visions:

Mental Bill Records – rock and alternative releases including Social Media Clown, Road Rage, Still Payin’ My Dues, and The Spaceman Rides Again (a tribute to Ace Frehley).

LUMIN8 Records – trance and dance productions featuring international vocalists Alejandra LUMIN8 and Diego LUMIN8, with tracks such as Feel the Heat, Let Me Show You (How to Love Me), If I Said I Was Impressed, I Lied, and Fire and Ice, co-produced with Sergio “G-Man.”
