Conceived and produced by Swapnil Tiwari, Lucknow blends traditional Indian instrumentation and melodic phrases with contemporary electronic textures and cinematic arrangements–an approach that draws a direct line between Hindustani sentiment and modern production. The EP was released digitally on November 5, 2025.
The five tracks on Lucknow–“Veena in Motion,” “Blooming Awadh,” “Devotional Drive,” “Nights in Lucknow,” and “Fusion Mahotsav”–each explore a different mood and rhythm of the city: from reflective dawns to festive, danceable textures. “I wanted to translate the vibes and timeless aura of my place into a modern sonic journey,” says Swapnil Tiwari. “Lucknow is an intimate conversation between memory and present–between classical phrasing and electronic pulse.” Swapnil Tiwari produced and arranged the EP independently.
