AHOF Releases “Pinocchio” From New Mini-Album The Passage

(Isstories Editorial):- Seoul, South Korea Nov 5, 2025 (Issuewire.com) – Multinational K-pop boy band AHOF transforms a classic fairytale into a coming-of-age anthem with their new single “Pinocchio,” released November 4 as the lead track from their second mini-album The Passage.

The emotive pop-rock track explores the importance of honesty during youth’s turbulent moments. The song’s lyrics center on staying truthful with someone special despite inner turmoil, using Pinocchio’s growing nose as a metaphor for the struggle between authenticity and self-protection.

AHOF comprises nine members from six countries: Steven (Australia), Jeongwoo, Woongki, Han, and Juwon (Korea), Shuaibo (China), JL (Philippines), Daisuke (Japan), and Chih En (Taiwan). The group currently promotes as eight members while Chih En focuses on health recovery.

The music video brings the fairytale to life across three symbolic settings. A mysterious workshop depicts Pinocchio’s creation. A moonlit lakeside captures moments of temptation and confusion. A vast blue field represents freedom after overcoming hardship and discovering truth.

Choreography cleverly references Pinocchio’s iconic lie detector through movement. The visuals blend storybook aesthetics with modern production, creating a dreamlike narrative about growing up.

AHOF earned recognition as “monster rookies” after their July debut EP Who We Are sold 369,850 copies in its first week, marking the fifth highest debut week sales for any boy group in South Korea. The group won three music show trophies within 10 days of debut and held their first solo concert in Manila in August.

The Passage features five tracks produced by El Capitxn, who also helmed their debut album: “Everything is Love,” “Run at 1.5x Speed,” “Pinocchio,” “Never Lose You,” and “The Sleeping Diary.”

“When people think of youth, they imagine something beautiful and exciting. But the truth is that it can’t always be pretty,” said member Woongki. “We are embracing those challenges as part of discovering our true selves.”

“Pinocchio” is available now on all streaming platforms.
