In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Del Pilar Jr. holds several leadership and academic positions, including Assistant Professor at California North State University-Sacramento (2020-Present), Team Lead, Medicine D at Kaiser Permanente Stockton (2024-Present), PSA Champion for Stockton and Tracy Campuses (2021-Present), and Physician Recruiter Ambassador for the Central Valley Region (2024-Present).
Inspired by his paternal grandfather and father, who both influenced his path to medicine, Dr. Del Pilar Jr. earned his medical degree from the University of the Philippines Manila College of Medicine in 2002. He later completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, where he honed his skills in comprehensive patient care.
Recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP), Dr. Del Pilar Jr. is also an active member of the California Association of Family Physicians, the New York Academy of Family Physicians, and the San Joaquin County Medical Society. He attributes his success to his faith, commitment, dedication, diligence, and perseverance.
His passion for service extends beyond clinical work through his many volunteer and philanthropic endeavors, including serving as Volunteer Medical Director for Clearwater Care Center, Noble Care Center, Brookside Care Center, and ANPMG Incorporated, as well as a Rounding Physician for AHCI-Franciscan Convalescent Hospital and GENHC-English Oaks Convalescent Care Center.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Del Pilar Jr. enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He follows baseball, basketball, soccer, and American football and enjoys reading The Epoch Times along with medical journals such as The New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, and Family Practice Journal. His favorite destination to visit is Europe.
