The planned expansion will eventually add 45 new single-family cottages–independent residences designed for modern senior living and integrated with a full continuum of care available at the Village. General campus upgrades are also planned to enhance dining, wellness, and community spaces, ensuring residents enjoy a vibrant, maintenance-free lifestyle with amenities close at hand.
“This announcement marks an exciting chapter for our community,” said Alex Patterson, CEO of Presbyterian Homes of Georgia. “We are preserving the trusted mission and values that have guided us for more than 75 years, while signaling growth and renewal. By planning new homes, refreshing our name, and introducing the Oasis Priority Program, we are offering families a unique opportunity to engage with our community early and experience the benefits before construction begins.”
The Oasis Priority Program allows prospective residents to secure a place in line for the new cottages with a fully refundable $500 deposit. Early members will receive a Priority Number on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority membership for the general public opens in late October.
The Oasis Priority Program Inaugural Event will be held on Nov. 13, 2025, at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, where early respondents can learn more, meet the team, and review preliminary plans.
The planned project is expected to deliver meaningful economic benefits to Cobb County:
- Creation of new, quality jobs in healthcare and support services.
- Millions of dollars invested in construction, materials, and long-term operations.
- Expanded senior housing options in a tight housing market.
- Increased visitors and local shopping from family members and community tours.
To further engage the community, Presbyterian Village Cobb plans to host public presentations in various Cobb County locations, including Marietta, Smyrna, Mableton, Kennesaw, Acworth, Powder Springs, and Austell. Event details will be posted on the website at pvcobb.org/oasis in the coming weeks.
