Engineered specifically for non-tackle football, the X7C headband is designed to reduce the risk of head injury from incidental contact without requiring a full helmet. Recognized with a 5-star rating from the Virginia Tech Helmet Lab, the X7C combines lightweight protection, comfort, and a sleek design — giving athletes the confidence to compete at their best.
“We’re honored to team up with the Packers on this initiative,” said Steve Arzoni, CEO of SYZMIK Sports. “SYZMIK’s mission is to protect as many athletes as possible in their athletic journey. Knowing that young flag athletes across Wisconsin will now have access to our X7C head protection is incredibly rewarding.”
Through the Packers’ Girls Flag Grant Program, 20 schools awarded grants earlier this year will begin receiving X7Cs, while an additional 20 programs are set to receive them during the current grant cycle. Alongside the protective headgear, participating schools will also receive a girls’ flag starter kit from USA Football and $5,000 in funding upon completion of their season.
“The Packers’ commitment to growing the game of girls flag football in Wisconsin is inspiring,” added Arzoni. “We’re proud that the X7C can play a role in creating safer, more enjoyable experiences for athletes as this sport continues its rapid rise.”
The Packers are currently accepting applications for the second year of the Girls Flag Grant Program through March 31, 2026. Schools can apply for grants at this link.
