Accerts Productions’ Home(sick) earns six TINFF nominations as the film readies its worldwide premiere in Toronto and the company unveils a bold slate for producers, distributors, and investors

Peyret, has earned six nominations at the prestigious Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival (TINFF), including Best Film – North America, Best Film – Foreign Language, Best Drama, Best Director (Thriller/Drama), Best First Feature – International, and Best Music Score – North America.

The film will celebrate its worldwide premiere at TINFF on September 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the York Woods Library Theatre in Toronto. The worldwide premiere will be followed by a live Q&A with director/producer/star Raúl E. Peyret and lead actor AJ Amber.

Home(sick) follows Alex (Raúl E. Peyret), an Argentinian expatriate living in Seattle, who returns to his homeland in search of connection. There he meets Felix (AJ Amber), an artist whose unconventional approach to life and love challenges Alex’s understanding of identity and belonging. The film blends humor and heart while delivering authentic LGBTQ+ representation and universal themes of identity, self-discovery, and home.
