Born in Bristol, England, on 4 April 1935, Antoni Williams immigrated to New Zealand in 1980, where he built a new life filled with love, creativity, and purpose. He married Elnora Lauro Abarcar in 1986, and together they shared 38 years of joyful companionship until his passing on 21 September 2024. A lifelong lover of language, Antoni’s work reflects a deep sensitivity to the rhythms of life and the truths that unite us all. Not Averse to Verse is his lasting testament to the power of words.
