The summit aims to spotlight the Black Sea’s untapped potential within the global blue economy and foster collaboration across borders. Over 500 participants from more than 70 countries–including policymakers, scientists, entrepreneurs, and civil society leaders–are expected to converge for a week of high-level dialogue, knowledge exchange, and action planning.

The initiative is supported by the Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Karadeniz Technical University, Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality, Eastern Black Sea Development Agency, and regional partners, with invitations extended to the World Bank, European Union, UN bodies, and international maritime organizations.
