While Beyoncé continues to dominate the world stage with record-breaking achievements, it is her father, Dr. Mathew Knowles, who recently took the spotlight for a profound and personal mission: advocating for cancer awareness and early detection in men.

At the 25th Anniversary of the international children’s charity Time4sharing.org, Dr. Knowles was recognized at the World Class Leadership Global Impact Awards for his life-saving advocacy in promoting early testing for male breast cancer and prostate cancer. A survivor himself, Dr. Knowles has become a beacon of awareness for health issues that often remain undiscussed–especially among men.

During the emotional ceremony, Coach M J Tolan, Co-Founder of Time4sharing.org and himself a two-time cancer survivor, presented Dr. Knowles with the distinguished title of “The Ambassador of Hope.” This honorary title celebrates his resilience, leadership, and dedication to inspiring hope in thousands of children worldwide who are currently fighting cancer.

“We wanted to honor a man who not only shaped global music culture through Destiny’s Child and mentored both Solange and Beyoncé into stardom, but who now channels his influence toward something deeply personal and impactful–cancer awareness and early detection,” said Coach M J Tolan during the presentation. “As survivors, we share a common mission–to use our platforms to bring light and hope to others. That’s what The Ambassador of Hope represents.”

Legacy Beyond the Stage

Dr. Knowles, who played an instrumental role in branding and managing Destiny’s Child and launching the careers of his daughters, now turns his legacy toward health education. His openness about his diagnosis and recovery has sparked vital conversations around early screening and prevention for men, especially in underserved communities.

Time4sharing.org‘s Milestone Celebration

Founded in 2000, Time4sharing.org has brought smiles to over 16,000 underprivileged and terminally ill children globally through empowerment events, holiday celebrations, and humanitarian campaigns. The 25th Anniversary marked a key milestone in its mission to deliver its ‘I’M Possible’ Fun days for  hope, healing, and happiness to children in need–from the Philippines to Prague.  New chapters in UAE, Poland, the Netherlands and India promise to expand the compassionate reach of the charity to bring smiles to kids that matter in 2026.

This year’s event, themed “Voices of Courage and Leadership,” brought together global change-makers and humanitarians, recognizing those who exemplify leadership not only in their careers but in their compassion.
