With local stars of all ages and genres–from gospel to hip hop–this unforgettable night will spotlight Metro Atlanta’s brightest performers competing for category prizes and a grand prize, along with music industry recognition.

Presented by the Gateway Center Arena, Gateway to Talent celebrates raw talent, musical excellence, and community spirit. Hosted by the national touring comedian and member of the Rickey Smiley Morning Show team, Special K, the talent show will feature celebrity judges, a live DJ, and dynamic performances across five exciting categories:

Audition Details: Video submissions are open until June 21, 2025. Audition Dates are Thursday, June 26 (4-7 PM) & Saturday, June 28 (10 AM-2 PM) at the Georgia International Convention Center GICC, 2000 Convention Center Concourse, College Park, GA 30337 – Audition Fee: $25 non-refundable; cashless payment only
- Youth (Ages 13-17)
- R&B (Ages 18+)
- Rap (Ages 18+)
- Gospel (All Ages)
- 2nd Time Around (Ages 40+) a special division honoring timeless talent
Eligibility: Ages 13+ Groups welcome. All acts must perform a cover of a popular, family-friendly song.
Each category will produce three finalists, with individual category winners and one grand prize winner selected based on scores from a panel of celebrity judges. The grand prize includes professional music production equipment and tools to support the winner’s musical journey.
Gateway to Talent also offers unique sponsorship and media partnership opportunities. Brands and supporters are invited to engage with a diverse and vibrant audience, with all sponsorship checks made payable to the City of College Park and the Gateway Center Arena.
Date: Saturday, July 26, 2025. Tickets On Sale: via Ticketmaster General Admission is $25 and up. VIP Packages and Cheering Sections are available. Custom ticket links are available for each contestant’s supporters.
