Mary’s journey in nursing began with her education at Maryview School of Nursing, where she earned her diploma in Registered Nursing in 1964. She further enhanced her expertise by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Joseph College in Standish, Maine, in 1984. She started her career at New York Hospital working in Med-Surg. Then, Virginia Hospital Center in the ICU as well as Alexandria Hospital in the ICU. Throughout her extensive career, she has specialized in Occupational Health, utilizing her skills to ensure the well-being of her patients in various capacities. She worked at a variety of government facilities, including NASA, the Pentagon, the Federal Reserve, and Navy Federal.
