Ricky Pyne, a professional poker player from Central Florida, witnessed the suspect breaking free of handcuffs, biting a deputy, and attempting to seize a taser. Without hesitation, Pyne ran in and helped deputies bring the suspect under control.
“I just saw people in danger and knew I couldn’t stand by,” said Pyne. “It wasn’t about being brave–it was just about doing what was right.”
