Red Coral Universe Launches New Reality Show, Fame/Less

(Isstories Editorial):- New York City, New York Jan 16, 2025 (Issuewire.com) – Red Coral Universe, the premiere, artist-first, OTT streaming platform catering to independent artists, today announced the launch of FAME/LESS, a new reality series that follows singer-songwriter and best-selling author Robert Hunter as he takes his music and personal struggles on the road.

Nashville recording artist Robert Hunter was on the verge of a breakout in 2018 when his wife and favorite muse, Becky, was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 28. Her courage and positivity inspired a book, an album, and a nationwide tour. Robert and his guitarist, Slayder Smet, performed an acoustic set at 600 bars, coffee shops, and bookstores while Becky served as “Guest of Honor” at each show. The couple sold their belongings and set out on tour to see the country together. As the tour progresses, their unwavering love and resilience are put to the test as they learn to balance Robert’s desperate pursuit of stardom and Becky’s health struggles, which could ultimately end their marriage and his career.

Filmed on-location in Mississippi, Alabama, and Pennsylvania, the 10-episode series was produced by RKP Productions and directed by David McAbee, an award-winning filmmaker whose credits span The Food Network, HGTV, The Travel Channel, and Fox Sports. The all-star production team also included filmmakers from some of the most popular shows on television, including Sesame Street, The Amazing Race, Jersey Shore, Keeping up with the Kardashians, HGTV Design Star, Shark Tank, House Hunters, and Cupcake Wars.
