Both physicians are pursuing their U.S. medical licensure while contributing their medical education to The Guardian Group’s mission to support its QME member physicians to achieve the highest standard in Med-Legal Reporting.  

Nick Bautista, MD, who serves as a Medical Research Analyst in The Guardian Group’s Subsequent Injuries Benefits Trust Fund (SIBTF) Division, completed his medical training in the Philippines in 2021, followed by a year of post-graduate training. At The Guardian Group, he applies his medical expertise to assist SIBTF evaluators in the identification of pre-existing and compensable disabilities. 

Henok Fekadu, MD brings valuable international experience as a practicing physician from Eritrea, where he graduated from medical school in 2020. As a Medical Assistant and QME Report Liaison, he assists The Guardian Group’s member QME physicians with in-person QME evaluations and QME report editing.
