During her time there, she received the Woman One scholarship and participated in the Albert Schweitzer fellowship, reflecting her commitment to serving others. Additionally, she obtained her Master’s in Public Health through a dual MD/MPH program at Drexel University School of Public Health, with a concentration in Health Management and Policy.
Dr. Howard completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital, where she honed her skills in a demanding and diverse healthcare environment. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and in Addiction Medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine.
