Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Dr. Troconis completed his full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery training program at the University of Puerto Rico. After finishing his residency, he joined the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. As the only Level 1 Trauma Center in Northeast Ohio at the time, he gained extensive experience clinically and academically.
After several years, Dr. Troconis decided to take the opportunity to transition to private practice in Austin, Texas in order to serve the local community.
Among his professional affiliations, he is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
