Complementing his clinical roles, he educates medical students as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine.
Academically, Dr. Watson obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas Tech University in 2006 and his Medical Degree from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in 2010. He pursued his surgical residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center from 2010 to 2017, followed by a fellowship in pediatric surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston from 2017 to 2019.
Passionate about his profession, the doctor is board-certified in both general surgery and pediatric surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.
