Prior to his corporate endeavors, he dedicated 20 years to serving his country, followed by 16 years in the HR field, providing dedicated support to employees in Corporate America. While employed full-time, Rickey pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and an MBA with a concentration in Human Resources.
When it came time for him to retire, Rickey was the HR Director for a transportation company in Boston. His military and corporate experiences, involving frequent moves with his family, provide him with a unique understanding of the stress of relocation. His aim is to alleviate this stress by delivering world-class service.
Initially assisting his wife–who was already a licensed realtor with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate–by managing marketing tasks, Rickey obtained his own real estate license in January 2017. Since then, he has guided his clients through the home buying/selling process, allowing them to proceed at their preferred pace.
A recipient of the BHGR Gary Greene’s Gold Award in 2018 and the BHGR Gary Greene’s Platinum Award in 2019, Rickey attributes his success to his “still serving” mindset, stemming from his previous military service and ongoing commitment to serving his community. He values treating everyone like family and takes pride in being a dependable resource for others.
Actively involved in the community, Rickey dedicates time to the Texas Raiders football organization, mentors transitioning veterans, and participates in the local Veterans Felony court as a mentor.
On a personal level, Rickey enjoys a happy marriage with four grown children and six beloved grandchildren.
