A Bluffton resident for 23 years and originally from Williamsburg, Virginia, Michele brings a rich background. Her father, a distinguished individual, had a notable 30-year career with the US Army Infantry and 82nd Airborne Divisions, later serving as the Command Sergeant Major at the College of William and Mary.

After graduating from the College of William and Mary herself, Michele made an impulsive move to Hilton Head Island in 1996. She was a working student/assistant dressage trainer for an International Grand Prix Dressage Rider and Trainer, and then decided to start her own personal training business, putting her Degree in Kinesiology to good use. 

Enhancing her expertise in real estate, Michele holds certifications as a Military Relocation Professional and Heroes on the Move. In addition, she is an active member of prestigious associations like the National Association of REALTORS®, the South Carolina Association of REALTORS, and the Hilton Head Area Association of REALTORS.

Happily married, Michele met her husband on the beach near Coligny one evening as they were walking their roommates’ dogs. Their love of animals and international families instantly drew them together.  

Because her husband was an avid mountain biker, he introduced her to the sport, and within three years, Michele was racing as a professional cross country and Category One Road Cyclist. She was trained by coaches with the Peak Centre for Human Performance based out of Ottawa, Canada, as well as became a coach with them herself. This introduced her to the world of remote coaching, writing, and creating periodized schedules for athletes, as well as her PT clients. She pursued certifications in sports nutrition, nutritional coaching, corrective exercise, and many more, which she uses to this day with her clients all over the country. 

Attributing her achievements to perseverance, fearlessness in the face of failure, and a strong work ethic, Michele looks forward to assisting her clients in discovering their homes to share in the charm of Bluffton and the surrounding Lowcountry.

Alongside her thriving real estate career, she and her husband proudly reside in Old Town Bluffton, where they also own Custom Marine Finishes.
