Originally from Strawberry Plains, a rural upper East Tennessee town near Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Ralph’s upbringing instilled in him a strong work ethic through activities such as raising tobacco and annual crops, hauling and bailing hay, as well as tending cattle, hogs, chickens, and bees. Growing up “country” meant helping and supporting neighbors as an everyday part of life.

From a young age, this lifestyle, and his parents, instilled in Ralph compassion for helping others, an understanding of the importance of teamwork, and the opportunity that higher education provided. 

Earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology from Middle Tennessee State University, Ralph was involved in the automotive engineering field before expanding his efforts into the real estate market.

Obtaining his North Carolina Real Estate Broker license in 2004, he holds notable designations, including a Residential Construction Certification (RCC) and Certified New Home Sales Specialist (CNHS).

Dedicated to continuous learning and professional growth, Ralph actively engages in various roles within the real estate community, such as serving as the 2022 GRRA Elections Committee Chair and Chair/Vice Chair of the Greensboro Regional Realtors Association Government Affairs Committee. Additionally, he is a member of the Wake Forest University Parent Council, Co-Chair of the Triad Alliance of the Piedmont, CanterBury School Board Member, and President/Vice President of Brassfield Oaks HOA.
