(Isstories Editorial):- Grayslake, Illinois Dec 11, 2023 (Issuewire.com) – The Antioch Community Choir presents the Christmas portion of Handel’s Messiah on December 17th at 7:30 pm.
This holiday concert will take place at the Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Antioch Illinois.
This is a free concert and open to the public. This concert will be conducted by Stanley Bochat and features professional singers and orchestra with the Tim Montalvo Strings, brass led by Bill McGee, percussion instruments, and Chris Kusher at the piano.
Join us for this wonderful holiday tradition which includes the Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus.

The Festival Arts of Antioch sponsors other concerts throughout the year for the enjoyment and cultural enrichment of the community. Past events had included HMS Pinafore in full stage production with orchestra, as well as a concertized version for the United Methodist Church in their “Little Theater in the Church”. Other productions have included “A Toast to Broadway”, “St. Mathew’s Passion”, “The Crucifixion” by Stainer, and the Easter portion of “Handel’s Messiah”.
The Festival Arts of Antioch was founded to promote the performing arts and to provide education and instruction in these areas. In the past several years, they’ve presented awards under the Ken Smouse Memorial Scholarship fund to students in both theater and music.
