(Isstories Editorial):- London, United Kingdom May 9, 2023 (Issuewire.com) – Today the world-leading dash cam manufacturer, THINKWARE announces the launch of its U3000 dash cam to the UK market.

The new U3000 is one of the most advanced models yet, boasting built-in radars that will detect motion and allow the dash cam to prepare to save a full clip of the event at the front and rear of the vehicle, when in energy saving parking mode.

In the event of an impact being detected, a dedicated folder saves a 20-second video clip, comprising 10 seconds before and 10 seconds after the occurrence. This means that users not only have footage of the impact but also benefit from ultra-clear visuals of the entire incident, facilitated by the 4K UHD 30fps front camera and 2K QHD rear camera.

The U3000’s extensive parking mode features allow the dash cam to act as a CCTV camera to monitor your vehicle and its surroundings while you are away.

Parking Surveillance Mode with hardwiring installation enables parking protection against potential mishaps and hit-and-run incidents thanks to a number of features:

o Motion Detection: Monitor and capture any motion around the vehicle for potential vandalism attempts.

o Impact Detection: Monitor any impact to the vehicle while it is parked to catch any hit-and-run driver in the act while you are away.

o Time Lapse photography: By reducing the recording frame rate from 30fps to 2fps, Time Lapse Parking Surveillance mode enables the dash cam to record continuously while parked and make the most of the SD card capacity.

o Through Energy Saving Mode 2.0, the U3000 can conserve power while in Parking Surveillance mode by only supplying minimal power to essential components. With this exclusive technology from THINKWARE, the U3000 raises the bar for its competitors by staying in standby mode for roughly 22 days for a 1CH installation and approximately 20 days for a 2CH installation in energy-saving parking mode. These estimates are based on THINKWARE’s BAB-50 4,500mAH External Battery and may differ based on the usage environment.

The U3000 also comes equipped with a road safety warning system that alerts the driver to forward and rear collisions, forward vehicle departures and lane departures; super night vision 4.0 that ensures all videos benefit from improved brightness for night-time recording; and built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity that lets you upload saved footage to your mobile phone using the THINKWARE Link app.

Purchasers of the U3000 will also benefit from free access to the THINKWARE CONNECTED service via a smartphone app or a PC web interface, for real-time vehicle monitoring via the remote live view functionality, alerts in parking and driving modes and vehicle tracking. This requires the presence of a Wi-Fi hotspot for connection to the internet.

THINKWARE’s award winning dash cams help make roads safer by making drivers more aware, deterring road rage incidents, and providing vital evidence for insurance claims. Nobody can predict what will happen on the road, but a THINKWARE dash cam can give drivers added peace of mind.

The U3000 will be available starting from May, 2023, on the official THINKWARE website (thinkwaredashcam.eu) and through independent specialists, with a suggested retail price of £399 for the 1-channel version with a 64GB SD card and £529 for the 2-channel version with a 64GB SD card.
