Modern Logistics, the São Paulo-based logistics company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Cristiano Koga as its new CEO. Mr. Koga, a former Vice President of FedEx South America, brings to Modern Logistics 23 years of management, international trade, logistics and shipping experience in organizations across the Americas and Europe.  Modern Logistics is proud to welcome this skilled executive to lead the company through its next phase of growth. Mr. Koga will assume the CEO position immediately.

Indeed, the aircraft negotiations and acquisitions under Fernandes’ leadership firmly place Modern Logistics in a greater competitive position within the industry amid a challenging economic operating environment. Mr. Fernandes will continue his role as CFO and will also take on the position of CTO (Chief Transformation Officer) as well as joining the company’s Board of Directors in New York.
