Rig Veda bestows an ambient sound design in the latest sonic odyssey ‘Fire Fight’

The iconic music producer Rig Veda introduces a new sound design in the latest instrumental ‘Fire Fight.’

It is time to focus on regional talents who are thriving at a higher pace in the industry. Rig Veda shares a similar musical gene when it comes to following an unhindered passion for music over setting a footprint in the mainstream music market. His artistic flow is different from the other commercial music producers who like to provide a toxic atmosphere with hard-hitting beats for nocturnal parties. He follows the sound of his heart and the rhythms that speak a thousand words and convey a deep-rooted meaning wrapped with elegance. ‘Fire Fight’ is a twelve-minute-long sonic odyssey that holds you closer to a finer reality.

The New York City composer/producer/multi-instrumentalist Jay Rothman is the face behind the stage name, Rig Veda, capable of producing a unique blend of modern jazz, hip-hop, Indian classical, and electronic music, making his music sound familiar and strange at the same time. The artist also runs the midtown Manhattan recording facility “Mirrortone Studios.”

His very first EP release was in 2017, “Hymn in the Cut,” which was influenced by talented artists like David Bowie, Trent Reznor, Flying Lotus, etc. It was followed by two more EPs, “Silent Spring” and “Laboratory Experiments Vol. 1″ in 2019. “Fire Fight” is his latest masterpiece, released at the end of 2020, influenced by the paintings of NYC artist Gosha Levotchkin.
