Independent filmmaker Marc Cayce releases his new movie, ‘A Day of Trouble’ featuring various new actors, a gripping tale of crime, and human reactions.
Rising independent film director and writer Marc Cayce reentry released his new film, ‘A Day of Trouble‘. The new-age crime drama stars independent actors like Omar Gooding, Hawthorne James, Kathleen Bradley, Alanna Forte, and Jada Paige among many others.
The plot of the movie is a gripping story that follows a day in the life of two rival gang members. One of them is a Blood and the other, a Crip. They are cousins and goes by the character names of Terrance and Curtis. The plot takes the audience on the wholesome journey of Curtis who is an unreformed ex-inmate recently released from jail. He asks his cousin, Terrance to drive him to a job interview as they stopped at a bank on the way to their destination. Without Terrance’s knowledge, Curtis has other plans in mind.
He goes into the bank and robs it. Terrance is taken aback and confused at this intervention as he follows Curtis’ order and drives off in confusion and panic. He follows Curtis’ lead throughout the ordeal they end up with two kidnapped college cheerleaders as their hostages.
The director of the movie is endorsed by Intelligent Diva for providing a platform for upcoming independent actors. Independent films and actors supporting each other through cultural resurgence are very crucial. The movie features veteran actors like Hawthorne James known for his character as Big Red in The Five Heartbeats.
Other actors include Kathleen Bradley of Grey’s Anatomy fame, Titus Thorpe, and the director himself.
