We are excited to add such a professional to guide our program into a National Power. Mike Woodbury

Nation Golf Academy

The Nation Golf Academy will offer year-round junior training for all players, from any school that wants to get better at golf.

The first goal of Coach Bento is to establish the Nation Golf Academy locally, at the Middle School and High School level, while building interest in the Nation Christian Academy on a national and international level.

There is a huge hole in the competitive golf training world, golf does not have enough club teams, or year-round team training for juniors, we plan to change that with our programs at the Nation. Bento

Bentos goal is to help all competitive juniors on the Treasure Coast with getting better at golf and to help all players that want to play in high school, college and potentially professional golf.

We want to help players at all schools get better at golf and find a college spot to play, we understand that locally, some players will want to stay in their high schools so we have created our Nation Golf Academy to help in that training on a year-round basis. Bento

The Nation Golf Academy will have a Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer training programs.  The Fall, Winter & Spring programs will feature daily team practices and on course play with monitored skill-based learning and tournament strategy prep.  Summer programs will be camp based with full day training and on course play.  College recruiting combines and tournament showcases are also offered.

The Nation Christian Academy has recently purchased the St. Lucie Driving Range and it is undergoing a $75k renovation.  The Nation Golf Academy will use this facility, the PGA Learning Center and area golf courses in Port St. Lucie, Ft. Pierce, Jensen Beach, Stuart, Palm City & Hobe Sound for its team programs.

The Nation Golf Academy program will have two indoor training facilities with computer video analysis, launch monitors and 3D swing imaging, one in Port St. Lucie at the main campus building, and another in Stuart.  Club fitting, golf fitness and nutrition programs will also be offered.

Bento says his secret of success is getting players to commit to golf year-round by making the game fun and showing players how they can get better with strong fundamentals and skill development.

It takes a lot of little steps to build a good golfer, the game is hard, practicing can be boring, getting kids to commit is not easy, but what I have found is that as a long as players see little successes, little achievements, better scores, longer drives, having more fun, they will keep at it Bento
